2010-5-29: Swimming in the Big Pool
The local pool at
the rec-center (quite clean, nice, and big) has two areas: one for kiddies
and the big area also divided for swimming/diving and a toddler area. Anthony
didn't go much for the kiddie pool. He wanted in the big pool. He was also
very responsive to trying to swim. He paddled and kicked well, and a few
times stumbled on the right rhythm for the dog-paddle. Jumping in the water
was also a favorite. He did very very well indeed, but started to shiver
so much that we had to end it after an hour or so. Mommy came with us, but
can't go in the water just yet (doctor's orders).
